Enhanced Criminal Record Check

The Enhanced Criminal Record check consists of a search through the Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC), same as our National Criminal Record service, however has the added benefit of revealing any pending or ongoing charges before the courts, probation information and details with respect to prohibitions such as firearms prohibitions. The results that are provided to you within 16 business hours, confirm if you possess any record of criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted, and conditional and absolute discharges which have not been removed from the CPIC system in accordance with the Criminal Records Act or any pending or ongoing charges before the courts, probation information and details with respect to prohibitions in place. The results will provide a “clear” or “not clear” response in line with current RCMP directives. This search is considered as an advanced security level criminal record search.

Once your request is completed, you will receive an email advising you that your report is now available through our online secured system. You can download it and share the results with the persons of your choice.

*The enhanced criminal record check is a search performed based on the name and date of birth of an individual. If an individual with the same name and birth date as you has a criminal record, it is possible that your result will indicate that you may have a record.
